Please come to meet Sharon Cissna who is running for Alaskas lone seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. We vote on this important office in November. Sharon will conduct a community meeting, Sept. 20 from 5:30 p.m. to to 7:30 p.m.atthe Kachemak Bay Campus, UAA, Room 201-202. She is running an unusual campaign with no or few expensive TV ads. She plans to continuethe work she started as a state legislator: visiting communities to study community well-being and to elicit peoples ideas on how governmentcanbetter serve the public. Homer is one of the first communities she is visiting since she won the Democratic primary in August. I have known Sharon formore than 20 years.
