Troopers
Information about fire, police and troopers is taken from public records consisting of logbooks and press releases.

Sept. 1

Troopers at 6:51 a.m. received a report of several vehicles being vandalized at a Ninilchik business. Troopers found that someone slashed tires and scratched paint on a 2001 Chevrolet Tracker, a 1995 Ford pickup and a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban, causing over $1,000 in damages. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Homer troopers at 235-8239.

A Kenai man at 3:30 p.m. reported to Alaska State Troopers, that sometime between Aug. 16 and Sept. 1 someone stole a winch and an air filter worth $740 off his vehicle parked in the Ninilchik area.

Sept. 6

Troopers at 3:53 p.m. received a report that on Aug. 1 someone stole a dark gray leather purse with cash and credit cards from a vehicle parked on Kilcher Road.
