The assembly will conduct its day-long meeting beginning with a work session at 1 p.m. The regular meeting will open at 7 p.m. Both sessions will are open to the public and will be held in city council chambers at the Homer City Hall.
Homer representative Chris Moss said Tuesday's meeting is a good opportunity for Homer-area residents.
"It's good that we come to town occasionally so people don't have to drive up (to Soldotna to see us)," he said. "And they get to see our faces."
Milli Martin, who represents the Diamond Ridge/Seldovia district, agreed.
"It's an opportunity for people to come and address the assembly on concerns they have," she said. "I urge people to come in. Let's hear from you."
