Emma Brooks, Adrian Ryan, Nate Spence, Elise Marshal, Joe Hoanin, Whitney Cushing and Nathan Riedel recently returned from "Summer Get Together," a high school education and leadership program run by Alaska Youth for Environmental Action and the National Wildlife Federation. They toured Sitka and Ketchikan and the Tongass National Forest with other Alaska high school students. The group plans to start a recycling program at Homer High School.
