Pratt Museum

Saturday is the deadline for quilters to submit their intent to participate in the themed quilt show, History in the Making: Quilts, Quilters and their Stories. Contact Bill Walker at the Pratt Museum, 235-8635.

The museum presents Marian Becks Merged Lifestyles of Kachemak Bay and Facing the Elements, an outdoor exhibit.

All day, every day this summer, in the Marine Gallery, the Seebird Cam, a live video broadcast of nesting seabirds from Gull Island in Kachemak Bay allows visitors to control the camera for close-ups of common murres, kittiwakes, puffins, cormorants, glaucous-winged gulls and their young.

Today Shannon Daut, the director of the Alaska State Council on the Arts, speaks at the Pratt Museum about current trends in state and national arts and culture.

Check out the Pratts website for more details at www.prattmuseum.org and click on the calendar of events.
