Family appreciates kindness
In 1974, Stephan "Jocko" Tricamo left his family in St. Louis, Mo., to find a new home in Alaska. He loved the wonderful people and the untouched beauty of Alaska and never looked back.

From Jocko's family in St. Louis to his family of friends in Homer, we wish to send our sincere and heartfelt thanks for loving and caring for our son and brother. Your kindness and generosity during this sad time has been a great comfort to us all.

We would especially like to thank Jocko's coworkers at South Peninsula Hospital, the leadership of his union and his fellow firefighters at the Homer Volunteer Fire Department for their compassion and support.

Mary Tricamo Park and Ben Park, Wichita, Kan.
