Senior float a team effort
Friendship Center staff, volunteers and participants put together 500 handmade roses, 3,000 napkins and lots of time and effort to make a prize-winning float.

We want to thank everyone for their time and talents. A special thank you to Louie Strutz for the loan of the trailer, Bill Kaehr for pulling the float with his truck and Pat Hagan for playing the accordion for our choral group.

The statement that went with our flowers of freedom float said, "Seniors are the ground on which freedom bloomed and still are." It was a great parade and we were proud to be a part of it."
