Homer Alaska - Letters

I would like to thank the Homer Foundation and Beth Trowbridge for awarding me the 2011 Alice Witte Memorial Scholarship to attend the Sacred Heart University volleyball camp in Connecticut this summer.

I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to meet and play with girls of many different skill levels. Playing with new team mates was a valuable experience; it improved my personal skills and helped me further develop my leadership capabilities which I know will be beneficial in my upcoming senior year of volleyball.

Once again, I would like to express my thanks to the Homer Foundation for the opportunity to help me improve my skills. I look forward to an outstanding year of Mariner volleyball and contributing to a successful season.
