Mom Sunny Bourgeois waves good-bye, but her daughter Alaina, 5, is already focused on what kindergarten has to offer at Paul Banks Elementary School.

Grades K-3

Crayons-small boxes • 4 large pencils, wide (kindergarten and grade 1) • regular sized pencils (grades 2 and 3) • washable markers (optional) • 2 folders • 2 wide ruled spiral notebooks (grades 2 and 3) • 2 primary journals, elementary composition book (kindergarten and grade 1) • colored pencils • erasers • 1 black Sharpie • 1 highlighter • Fiskar scissors • 10 (pkg.) glue sticks or more • 2 boxes of Kleenex • • small water bottle • If your last name begins with A-M, please bring Ziploc sandwich bags • If your last name begins with N-Z, please bring Ziploc gallon size bags • Inside, non-marking, tennis shoes to be left at school. Students change into their outside shoes for recess and when they go home. • More supplies may be needed as the year progresses. Miss Taylor will let you know.

Grades 4-5, Mrs. Normandin

Pencils, or mechanical pencils and lead, must be available throughout the year • eraser(s) to last the year • 1 spiral bound notebook, for each subject that you have with me; wide rule recommended • 1 two-pocket folder, for each subject that you have with me • ear buds that are netbook compatible • flash drive recommended, if you are in my Reading, LA, Social Studies or Science Class • ruler • calculator recommended for Math Class • a pair of non-marking gym shoes for PE • clothes appropriate for PE • scissors • white glue • crayons, colored pencils and/or wide-tipped markers • water bottle • 2 boxes of facial tissue • 1 container of disinfectant wipes • a big smile and an eagerness to participate • a desire to do your "personal best"
