Homer Alaska - Letters

On Thursday, Aug. 4, folks from many faiths came together at the Mariner Theatre for a concert unlike Homer has ever seen. Homer's own Lincoln Brewster and his band rocked the house with a "Praise the Lord" attitude that brought everyone to their feet. It was a packed, emotion-filled venue that brought home the point that we can all make a difference.

A special thanks to Mike Becker and K-Wave Radio, the opening band Raw & Rugged, Trace Carlos and Alaska Adventure Car Rental, Scott Fraley and Homer Print Works, the Homer Bookstore, Kathleen at the Mariner Theatre, and the folks at Church on the Rock.

It takes many volunteers to make an event like this a success. So a huge "shout out" and thank you to all the volunteers. Also, a big thank you to Michelle Conley and Delayna Davis. You were amazing in coordinating the many volunteers behind the scenes who together made it all happen.

My heartfelt gratitude to Lincoln Brewster, the band and Cheryl Brewster for making it all possible.
