Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court through Aug. 8:

Judgments

Nicholas E. Moonin, 60, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 160 days in jail with 140 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and an anger management class; ordered to provide a DNA sample, not possess or consume alcohol, and not to contact his victim; and was placed on probation for three years.

Matthew M. Martushev, 20, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $3,000 with $1,500 suspended and sentenced to 60 days in jail with 57 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his driver's license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for two years.

Troy A. Johnson, 38, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; and was placed on probation for one year.

Latroye L. Williams, 32, pleaded guilty to attempted fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 360 days in jail with 330 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered not to possess, consumer or use any controlled substances; and was placed on probation for two years.

Gus R. Ukatish, 51, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 270 days in jail with 210 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and an anger management class; ordered to provide a DNA sample, not possess or consume alcohol, and not to contact his victim; and was placed on probation for four years.

Benjamin D. Denuptiis, 29, pleaded guilty at this arraignment to making a false report or providing false information. He was fined $1,500 with $1,250 suspended and sentenced to 125 days in jail with 120 days suspended; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and not possess or consume alcohol or be in bars; and was placed on probation for four years.

Glenn A. Pearston, 48, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft. Imposition of sentence was suspended subject to the condition that he pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and perform 16 hours of community work service and pay restitution. He was placed on probation for one year.

Criminal Court

Ronald Ax, 43, second-degree theft, a felony; unsworn falsification.

Nicholas J Scavnicky, 32, fraudulent use of an access device, nine counts, second-degree theft, both felonies; third-degree theft, six counts; tampering with physical evidence.

Joseph J. smith, 24, fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, all domestic-violence related.

Willie F. Hamilton, fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree theft, fifth-degree criminal mischief.

Sperry A. Moonin Jr., 39, disorderly conduct.

Michael F. Hannigan, 40, no vehicle insurance.

Spencer G. Kabatian, 20, Idyllwild, Calif., minor consuming alcohol.

Nikita S. Serebrekoff, 21, disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault.

Gary D. Malchoff, 28, third-degree assault, a felony.

Michael S. Smith, 56, making a false report.

Kelly K. Peterson, 21, driving under the influence, driving while license revoked.

Sarah J. Manalisay, 26, DUI.

Grant E. Yacobucci, 40, DUI, second-degree failure to stop at the direction of a peace officer.
