Experience elevates candidate
We think Gail Phillips is the best choice for lieutenant governor in this year's race. Her record shows her dedication to Alaska's issues; also her ability to get things done within the sometimes difficult bureaucratic system.

The fact that she grew up in the "bush" and therefore knows of the hardships of the old days makes her knowledge even more valuable. Besides business savvy, she understands what it's like walking to school while watching out for bears and eating 6-month-old eggs for breakfast. If you've got a problem, you can be sure Gail's been there and that she has the energy and intelligence to tackle the task. Joel and Clara Carlson, Anchorage
