Registration underway at Kachemak Bay Campus

On-line and walk-in registration for the fall semester at Kachemak Bay Campus, Kenai Peninsula College-University of Alaska Anchorage, is underway. Most courses begin Aug. 27, with others starting in October and November. Advanced registration is required. Credit card and flexible EZ payment options, as well as student employment and scholarship applications, are still being offered. More than 125 classes, including many distance education courses, are available. Among them are CADD for Building Construction, Quickbooks, Tai Chi, Hatha Yoga, Spanish, Creative Writing, Welding, Small Business Management, Karate, Child Development, Whales of Alaska, Ceramics, Painting, U.S. Election 2012, Ornithology, Geology, MS Office. Advisors are available to discuss requirements for degrees in psychology, business, art, history, anthropology, natural science, corrections, nursing, education and human services. Class schedules can be viewed online, with printed schedules available at many area locations. They also have been mailed to area residents.
