July 23

A person at 1:31 p.m. made a 911 call about a two-vehicle accident with injuries at West Hill Road and the Sterling Highway.

A man at 12:58 p.m. reported a campsite in the no-camping area on the beach between Beluga Slough and Mariner Park. The camp was eventually moved.

Police at 7:29 p.m. served a warrant without incident on a 27-year-old man at a Pioneer Avenue address.

July 24

Police at 3:02 a.m. contacted three boys camping at the high school. Police determined they were on the Wasilla baseball team and had been given permission to pitch their tent at the school.

Police at 3:26 a.m. saw a 26-year-old man known to them to not have a valid license driving on Ocean Drive and Ocean Drive Loop. They arrested him for driving while license revoked, suspended or cancelled.

Police at 3:33 a.m. stopped a 23-year-old male driver for equipment violations on Lake Street near Smokey Bay Way. They arrested him for driving while intoxicated and driving while license revoked, suspended or cancelled.

Police at 9:40 p.m. arrested a 32-year-old man on a $3,000 felony trooper warrant for failure to appear in court on an original charge of second-degree theft.

A woman at 9:27 p.m. reported the bank returned a check because the account number did not exist.

A woman at 10:57 p.m. reported a suspicious man had been standing outside and watching her Grubstake Avenue home for 15 minutes.

Police at 10:08 p.m. did a security check on the Tulin subdivision off West Hill Road. They saw several young people in the area who fled on foot.

July 25

A man at 7:21 a.m. reported money missing from the Camp Fee Collector's office on the Spit.

A man at 9:10 a.m. reported a camera stolen out of his parked vehicle at the Kachemak Center on Pioneer Avenue.

A man at 12:08 p.m. reported a trailer stolen from a lot on East End Road below the Gear Shed.

A woman at 1:32 p.m. reported someone burglarized her purple bus parked on Pioneer Avenue.

A woman at 6:23 p.m. reported items stolen from the Ocean Shores gift shop on the Sterling Highway.

A man at 10:18 p.m. reported a vehicle stolen from the Mormon Church parking lot on East End Road.

July 26

Police at 3:05 a.m. arrested a 29-year-old man at Homer Spit and Freight Dock roads for driving while intoxicated.

A man at 12:48 p.m. reported a man and a woman arguing and pushing each other in front of a trailer at a Kachemak Way parking lot.

A man at 2 p.m. reported a driver backed his pickup into the complainant's truck at the Fishing Hole parking lot and did not stop. The man said he followed the truck to the driver's campsite and that they were now arguing with him.

A woman at 4:23 p.m. reported a driver left the Ulmer's parking lot in a red truck with a dog tied to the mirror.

A man at 6:46 p.m. reported a four-wheeler accident with injuries at Coal Point Seafood on the Spit.

A woman at 7:43 p.m. reported finding a backpack in the stand of trees near Peninsula Tire on Ocean Drive.

July 27

Police at 5:13 p.m. received a report of a boat dead in the water two miles south of Seldovia and about 400 yards off the beach.

A man at 11:10 a.m. reported a man walked out of a Lake Street store with a Penn halibut reel without paying for the reel.

An employee at 2:57 a.m. asked police to remove a patron from a Pioneer Avenue bar. Police responded and issued a permanent trespass notice to the patron.

July 28

A woman at 4:30 a.m. reported someone took her purse while she was at a party at an East End Road home.

A woman at 10:58 a.m. asked police for information on handling a teen-age daughter.

A man at 11:45 a.m. reported someone shot at his vehicle with a paintball gun the night of Saturday, July 27.

A woman at 2:37 p.m. reported 10 juveniles in a 2000 Subaru Legacy drove away from Petro Express toward Eagle Quality Center. Police could not locate the suspects.

Police at 5:51 p.m. received a report of a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the Fishing Hole on the Spit.

Police at 7:49 p.m. received a report of a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at Lee and Svedlund streets.

A woman at 10:27 p.m. reported a vehicle hit her vehicle on Main Street and then left. The suspect vehicle returned when officers arrived.

July 29

Police at 12:02 p.m. received a report of a fourth-degree assault at the Spit.

A Lake Street business employee at 4:15 p.m. reported a shoplifter in custody. Police arrested a 49-year-old man for third-degree theft.

A school district employee at 2 p.m. advised police that hosts would be camping at the Homer Middle School from Thursday, Aug. 1 to Wednesday, Aug. 14.

A woman at 9:10 p.m. made a 911 call requesting an ambulance come to a Danview Avenue area home for "a hangnail."

July 30

A man at 12:52 a.m. made a 911 call of a fight in progress at a Spit campground. Police arrested a 23-year-old man for fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.
