Homer Alaska - Announcements

HoWL provides outdoor experiential education and wilderness leadership courses to youth in Alaska.

Day trips are held noon-4 p.m. on Sundays from the HoWL headquarters in the Yurt Village. They are open to youth age 8 and up, and more experienced HoWLers are encouraged to be involved as junior leaders. Cost is sliding scale $10-30.

Upcoming courses include; Wilderness Women, ages 14 and up, today-July 23; and a rock climbing/yoga day trip for ages 16 and up on Aug. 6. For more information and registration, call 399-HOWL or visit www.howlalaska.org.
