Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court:

Judgments

Garrett L. Collins, 24, pleaded guilty to driving in violation of an instructional permit. He was sentenced to pay a police training surcharge of $50; fined $500 with $250 suspended; and ordered to serve 30 days with 30 suspended. He was ordered to pay a confinement facility surcharge of $100 with $100 suspended and placed on probation for one year.

Leo Richardson Crocker Jr. pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence. He was found guilty by a jury and ordered to serve 60 days with 57 suspended; fined $2,000 with $500 suspended; ordered to pay a police training surcharge of $75, an initial jail surcharge of $500, a suspended jail surcharge of $100, and $330 for the cost of imprisonment. He is to complete a substance abuse treatment assessment. His drivers license was revoked for 90 days, he is to install an ignition interlock device for six months after regaining his license, and he was placed on probation for one year.

Thomas Patrick Custer, 27, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident. He was ordered to pay a police training surcharge of $50; fined $500 with none suspended; and ordered to serve 90 days with 90 days suspended. He was ordered to pay restitution and ordered to pay a $100 confinement facility surcharge with $100 suspended. He was placed on probation for one year.

Stephen Field, 19, charge of fourth-degree assault dismissed.

Rick Allen Hodgson, 41, pleaded guilty to reckless driving. He was sentenced to pay a police training surcharge of $50; fined $500 with none suspended; ordered to serve 30 days with 25 suspended and perform 40 hours of community work service. He was ordered to pay $150 confinement facility surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to surrender his drivers license and to serve one year of probation.

John C. Kaliher pleaded guilty to harassment and was ordered to pay a $50 court surcharge, fined $500 with $500 suspended and ordered to serve 60 days with 55 days suspended. He was ordered to pay a correctional facility surcharge of $150 with $100 suspended, complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, perform 40 hours of community work service, and to serve two years of probation.

Bruce Clifford Larson, Jr., 52, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault on a police officer. He was sentenced to a police training surcharge of $50. He was fined $1,500 with $750 suspended, with credit for mental health treatment applied to the fine due. The defendant was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail with 120 days suspended. The defendant was ordered to pay a $150 confinement facility surcharge with $100 suspended and provide a DNA sample upon request of an officer. He was placed on probation for three years with conditions.

Bruce Clifford Larson, Jr., 52, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. He was ordered to pay a police training surcharge of $50. He was fined $1,000 with $1,000 suspended. He was ordered to serve 180 days with 170 days suspended, to be served concurrently with previous judgment, and placed on probation for three years.

Bruce Clifford Larson, Jr., 52, pleaded guilty to first-degree harassment. He was ordered to pay a police training surcharge of $10. He was fined $500 with none suspended. He was ordered to serve 90 days, with 80 suspended, to be served concurrently with the previous judgment and was placed on probation for three years.

Bruce Larson, 52, charge of first-degree trespass and disorderly conduct dismissed.

Jackson D. Miles, 39, charges dismissed, driving under the influence and not having a valid operating license. He pleaded guilty to another charge of driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 42 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his drivers license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release. He was fined $500 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended.

Richard Munoz, 20, pleaded guilty to third-degree theft. He was ordered to pay a police training surcharge of $50; fined $500 with $500 suspended; and ordered to serve 30 days with 25 days suspended and to perform 40 hours of community work service. He was ordered to pay restitution and to pay a $150 confinement facility surcharge with $100 suspended. The defendant was placed on probation for one year.

Demian Tythe Sagerser, 40, charges of fourth-degree assault and second-degree criminal trespass dismissed; defendant is deceased.

Blake Lincoln Smith, 26, pleaded guilty to driving with a licence revoked. Defendant was ordered to pay a police trainingsurcharge of $50, fined $1,000 with $500 suspended, and ordered to serve 90 days with 60 suspended. Defendant also was ordered to pay a $150 confinement facility surcharge with $100 suspended, had the drivers license revoked for 90 days and placed on probation for three years.

Dakota L. Zellin pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal mischief, was sentenced to serve 300 days with 270 suspended, ordered to pay a court surcharge of $50 and a correctional facility surcharge of $150 with $100 suspended, ordered to pay restitution and placed on probation for two years.

Dakota L. Zellin pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault, ordered to pay a court surcharge of $50, ordered to serve 270 days with 270 suspended, ordered to pay restitution, and placed on probation for two years.

Criminal Court

William O. Daugherty, 47, kidnapping, third-degree assault, third-degree misconduct involving weapons, all felonies; fourth-degree assault, all domestic violence related.

Amy L. Klingele, 35, second-degree theft, a felony, third-degree theft, fraudulent use of an access device, three counts.

Blake L. Smith, 26, driving while license revoked.

Matthew J. Hutter, 32, driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test, sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

John C. Kaliher, 27, harassment.

Warren C. Urdahl, 49, DUI.
