New businesses opening at Anchorage airport

Several new concessions are opening at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport this summer.

The first new business of the summer opened June 29. The new Hudson News and Gifts Euro Café is located in the public tunnel that connects the Rental Car Center and the Alaska Railroad Depot to the airport's South Terminal. This store is the eighth Hudson News and Gift store at the airport.

Following on the heels of the Euro Café is the new InMotion kiosk. This kiosk, located in the pre-security area on the departure level near the regional ticket counters, is a full service store, offering the latest in entertainment and electronic accessories.

The new Cinnabon/Alaska Dog Haus, located in the Concourse B Hex, is scheduled to be open by the end of July.

Silver Gulch Brewing and Bottling Co. is the latest full-service restaurant post-security. This restaurant, located next to Starbucks, will serve pizza and other food items along with a variety of brewed beer from the 49th state, and is scheduled to open later this summer. Also at this location will be a retail store offering logo merchandise and beer to-go in growlers and six-packs.

Grizzly Pizza and Wings is slated to open at the end of the summer in the pre-security area on the departure level next to the regional ticket counters, across from the new InMotion kiosk. The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner items.
