Firefighters and emergency medical technicians at 11:29 a.m. went to Resch Road for a house fire. Upon arrival they found the fire involved one-quarter of the home. Firefighters put out the fire within 20 minutes of the call. EMTs treated a 10-year-old boy for smoke inhalation and transported him to South Peninsula Hospital. He was released later that day.
July 10
EMTs and firefighters went to Mile 161 Sterling Highway for a three-vehicle accident with four patients, including one vehicle rollover. Firefighters extricated a 77-year-old man with multiple injuries and a 52-year-old man with multiple injuries. From the overturned vehicle they treated a 22-year-old woman with an injured leg and a 24-year-old man with minor injuries. They transported the patients to the hospital.
