To continue building strong leaders in high-potential western land trusts such as KHLT, the Land Trust Alliance built upon the success when this group worked together again this spring in Colorado, along with board members to develop stronger board/staff leadership teams.
Thanks in part to the financial support of the Homer Foundation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services Coastal Program, and community members, KHLT board member Sam Means and I were able to attend this retreat and learn from some of the best consultants in our field, and from our peers. Hats off to the Homer Foundation for investing in the future of our organization.
