In the second annual Kachemak Bay Scottish Club Highland Games, held Saturday at Karen Hornaday Park, 21 athletes competed in a series of events based on activities from traditional Scottish life. Athletes participated in the open stone putt, the Braemar stone putt, heavy weight for distance, light weight for distance, heavy hammer, light hammer, weight for height, the sheaf toss and the caber toss. Local events were the halibut toss and the golf bag toss. Ray Mabey of McMinnville, Ore., won the master's division.
