Fire shows Homers heart

There are no words to express how thankful we are to all the men and women that responded to the Landings Condo fire. Homer Volunteer Fire Department and Kachemak Emergency Services arrived on the scene and limited the damage to less than half of the building. The many hours you volunteer to train and fight fires is invaluable to our community. We have often said we cannot imagine living anywhere else. That is because the people are just as special as the view. Kasis work family at the Gear Shed, our church family at Faith Lutheran, and our friends and family have been so kind and supportive. Homer is a great place to live.
