Pratt Museum

The museum presents Marian Becks Merged Lifestyles of Kachemak Bay and Facing the Elements, an outdoor exhibit.

Get a close look at unique objects in the collections storage, taken out and on display for Object at Hand each Wednesday in July from 2-3 p.m. The event is hosted by Pratt high school interns who select and research each item.

Forest Ecology Trail Tours are held on Thursdays at 6 p.m. Join a Pratt Museum docent at the trailhead behind the museum for an hour of interesting and informative forest ecology discovery. There is no fee to participate.

Historic Walking Harbor Tours run all summer at 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Meet on the Spit at the Pratt wheelhouse near the Salty Dawg; cost is $5 per person. Join a museum docent to walk the historic docks of the Homer Harbor while hearing stories of local history and seeing a memorable array of local characters and boats of all types.
