Fourth of July fun in Seldovia
Participants in the kids footrace, above, take off from the start line during Thursday's holiday celebration in Seldovia, while a pair of older competitors square off in the canoe joust.
Good weather enhanced the usual offerings of food and fun, and water taxis reported a brisk business ferrying people across Kachemak Bay for the day.
