A pair of older competitors square off in the canoe joust. Good weather enhanced the usual offerings of food and fun, and water taxis reported a brisk business ferrying people across Kachemak Bay for the day. Col. Norman Vaughan was named this yearpis Old Crab, but was unable to attend due to illness.
