A woman at 9:25 p.m. reported her daughter was out of control and having mental health issues. A caller at 10:50 p.m. reported an iPhone stolen from a Mission Road address. A man at 11:32 p.m. reported a person drove off without paying for propane at a Sterling Highway business. June 26 A woman at 10:12 a.m. reported driving over a hidden grate on Freight Dock Road, damaging a rental motor home. A woman at 1:03 p.m. asked police to do a welfare check on her daughter who might be having a mental breakdown. Police took the daughter to South Peninsula Hospital and then into protective custody. A federal official at 4:12 p.m. reported a car and a loose dog in the prohibited area of Bishops Beach. A man at 10 a.m. turned in a backpack found off the trail on Spruceview Avenue. Police at 2:35 p.m. attempted to locate fugitives, but the fugitives had left the area. Police advised Anchorage airport and border control officials. Police at 9:28 p.m. tried to arrest a man on a warrant at a Kachemak Drive address. June 27 A caller at 5:42 a.m. reported finding a wallet at the harbormasters office. An employee at 8:46 a.m. reported theft suspects were at a Sterling Highway store. The suspects were gone when police arrived. A man at 8:59 a.m. reported someone rifled through vehicles on Fairview Avenue. Nothing was taken. A woman at 2:06 p.m. reported a dispute with her boyfriend over a puppy. The puppy breeder reported the dog was unpaid for and wanted the dog returned. Police at 4:22 p.m. assisted firefighters at a multi-unit fire on Landings Street. A woman at 5:17 p.m. reported a road-rage incident on the Sterling Highway and said she was at a parking lot and afraid. Police at 9 p.m. made a traffic stop on a 23-year-old man on the Sterling Highway and issued him a summons for driving while license suspended. A man at 10:34 a.m. turned himself in on a probation violation. A caller at 12:04 p.m. reported a rock thrown through a window at an East Pioneer Avenue business. A caller at 12:40 p.m. reported vandalism at a West Pioneer Avenue business. A caller at 3:45 p.m. reported child abuse or neglect. Police advised the Office of Childrens Services. An employee at 4:20 p.m. asked police to issue a trespass notice indefinitely to a man for shoplifting at an East End Road store. A man at 3:05 p.m. reported cars broken into on East Pioneer Avenue. A property manager at 6:51 p.m. reported a woman tied her dog to a propane pipe and broke it at a Fairview Avenue building. Police at 7:30 p.m. arrested a womanon a warrant.
