Their celebration of vows is 2 p.m. July 18, 2009, in Fairbanks. This merry event will be followed by a potluck and music by bluegrass band, Slim Pickin'. Play clothes and tennis shoes are recommended for the slip and slide, hula-hoops and soccer match. The bride's Grandma Lillian and Aunt Bonnie from Colorado, along with the groom's Aunt Sherry, Uncle Jim and Cousin Michael from Virginia, and many of their friends from Homer where Hillary and Andrew first met and fell in love, will join them and Grandma Lillian Hollenbeck along with their local Hollenbeck family for this joyous celebration.
The bride's attendants are long-time best friends, Summer Andersen and Liz Cotter. Kelly Hill, a friend from Homer, is their flower girl, along with their daughter Ayla. Ring-bearers are Johnny and Bridger O'Brien. Officiates are Homer friend Bree Murphy and Pierre Thompson. Peter Talus, a good friend from the fire-crew, will be the best man standing aside the groomsmen, who are the bride's own dad and her brother, Jeremiah Hollenbeck.
