Pratt Museum

A public presentation titled Boreal Birch: art and science in the northern forest, will be at 7 p.m. today in the museum's lower-level gallery. The one-hour presentation by exhibition artists Margo Klass, Kimberley Maher and Kesler Woodward will include time for questions and will be followed by the opportunity to preview the exhibition, which opens the following evening.

The Pratt Museum's annual outdoor art exhibit, Facing the Elements, is on display along the Museum's forest trail until Oct. 1.

Marvelous Mondays story hour will be held July 11, 18 and 25, from 11 a.m.-noon. The Object at Hand is held 2-3 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through July 29. High school interns select and research a collections object and then display and discuss their findings with museum visitors.

Seebird Cam is on all day, every day this summer, in the Marine Gallery. Fish feedings are every Tuesday and Friday at 4 p.m., also in the Marine Gallery.

Historic harbor walking tours are held Fridays and Saturdays through Aug. 20. Meet at 3 p.m. at the Pratt wheelhouse near the Salty Dawg on the Spit. Cost is $5 per person. For more information, call 235-8635 or visit www.prattmuseum.org.
