Hoops camp successfull
Dear Editor,

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the sponsors, officials, parents and teens that made this year's Mariners Basketball Camp a tremendous success. Special thanks to Charlie Trowbridge who stayed late to help clean up, Shari Stead and Chris Crum who showed up early, and to Daryl Farrens who always seemed to be around to help keep things running smoothly. Kenny Rogers and family put in endless hours entertaining our out-of-town guests and organizing the official's camp. Dave Cloud and Mike Coates made sure everyone from out of town got a Homer fishing experience. Joe Szajkowski was a wizard with the books and the clock, as was Kye Klamser. Era Aviation and Alaska Airlines provided transportation for our guests. Last, but certainly not least, Starrvin' Marvin's and Subway of Homer kept everyone fed during the four-day basketball extravaganza. My thanks to you all.
