Kachemak Heritage Land Trust extends a huge thank you to the great folks who donated labor or materials to launch our new program of growing potatoes in our community garden for donation to the Homer Food Pantry. Neil Wagner supplied assorted local seed potatoes; Jim Van Oss supplied compost; Claire Waxman (Homer Saw and Cycle) tilled the ground; and Lyn Maslow supervised the planting by students from West Homer Elementary School. Thank you all for your contributions to this great new community project.
