Sleep disorders subject of Monday evening forum
South Peninsula Hospital is offering a public seminar on sleep disorders at the Best Western Bidarka Inn conference room at 6:30 p.m. Monday. Featured presenter is Dr. Daron Scherr, a sleep disorders specialist certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Sherr is with Sleep Institute, Blackfoot, Idaho, and serves as medical consultant for the SPH sleep lab.
The forum will address all sleeping-related disorders, including snoring, restless legs, frequent awakenings, sleep apnea, fatigue, insomnia and sleep walking. It also will look at diagnosis and solutions to these disorders which impact a person's quality of life. Refreshments will be served.
