Homer Senior Citizens lunch is open to seniors and their guests and is served 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday through Friday. The lunch menu for this week is: today, turkey; Friday, fried chicken; Monday, chicken dumpling; Tuesday, liver in onion-bacon gravy; Wednesday, taco/enchilada.

A Caregiver's Support Group is held at the HSC recreation room twice per month. Local resources for caregivers and answers about health care programs and insurance will be discussed with guest speakers, discussion groups and handouts. Meetings are the first Friday of each month at 9 a.m. and the third Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Contact Kathi Drew at 235-7655, ext. 42 or Mary Jo Gates at 235-2295 for more information.

The Senior Nutrition Program offers Farmers Market coupons for Alaska residents 60 years and older who meet income guidelines. Applications and coupons are available at the Homer Senior Center business office.
