June 7

Homer Fish and Wildlife Protection troopers cited a 31-year-old Homer man for failing to record a king salmon over 20 inches caught in Halibut Cove lagoon. He was fined $110.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 19-year-old Homer man for failing to record a king salmon harvested from the Anchor River. He was fined $110.

June 10

A Voznesenka woman at 2:40 a.m. made a 911 call reporting her 26-year-old son assaulted her during a family argument. The man left before troopers arrived. Investigation continues.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 49-year-old Homer man for failing to record a king salmon harvested from the Fishing Hole on the spit. He was fined $110.

June 12

Troopers at 8:22 p.m. summonsed a 21-year-old Nikiski man for driving while license canceled after contacting him near Ninilchik for a traffic violation.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 49-year-old Medford, Ore. man for failing to record a king salmon harvested from the Fishing Hole on the spit. He was fined $110.

June 13

A man reported that his 12.5-foot Zodiac MK IIC inflatable boat had been stolen from the Ninilchik boat harbor sometime between 5 p.m. June 12 and 10 p.m. June 13. The $4,000 boat is white with a gray and yellow stripe running down the sides and patches all over the boat. Anyone with information in regards to this theft is urged to contact the troopers in Homer at 235-8239 or in Soldotna at 262-4453.

Troopers at 4:55 p.m. went to a vehicle collision near the Sterling Highway and Green Timbers Road. They allege that a 21-year-old Ninilchik man driving south in a 1973 Javelin passed in a no-passing zone and hit head-on a 1988 Ford. The collision injured four occupants, none of whom wore seatbelts. Troopers cited the Ninilchik man for negligent driving.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 30-year-old man, a 21-year-old man and a 24-year-old man, all of Anchorage, for clamming without a valid 2002 sport fishing license. They were each fined $210.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 36-year-old man and a 26-year-old man, both of Anchorage, for harvesting 122 undersize butter clams from the beaches of Kachemak Bay.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 24-year-old Anchorage man for harvesting 109 under size littleneck clams from the beaches of Kachemak Bay.

June 14

Troopers at 1:40 p.m. summonsed a 43-year-old Anchorage man for driving while license revoked after stopped him for a traffic violation near Anchor Point.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 43-year-old Palmer man and a 54-year-old Homer man for sport fishing with more than one line. They were each fined $100.

June 15

A Kenai woman at 9:50 p.m. driving northbound in a Chevrolet Blazer on the Sterling Highway near the Old Sterling Highway hit a moose when it ran in front of her. She suffered minor injuries.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 46-year-old Anchorage man for failing to record a king salmon harvested from the Fishing Hole on the Spit. He was fined $110.

Homer FWP troopers cited a 49-year-old Hattiesburg, Miss. man for failing to log a king salmon over 20-inches long caught in the Anchor River. He was fined $100.
