Tyler Alred, 8, from Barrow, stands next to a 111-pound halibut he caught Tuesday off Elizabeth Island fishing with his grandparents, Colleen and Mike Alred, of Katilak Charters. In the Inupiaq Eskimo tradition, Tyler said he would share the halibut with his elders. "A big box of fish is going to Barrow," Mike said. "That way he'll catch bigger fish," Colleen said.
