Homer Alaska - Letters

As a recent recipient of the A.W. "Bill" Johnson Scholarship in the amount of $1,000, I would like to express my gratitude to the committee for selecting me for this award. This scholarship is provided through the A.W. "Bill" Johnson Scholarship Fund at the Homer Foundation.

I graduated from Nikolaevsk School in May and plan on attending Kachemak Bay Campus this fall. With the help of the Johnson scholarship, I will be able to start working towards obtaining an elementary teaching degree. My long-term plan is to stay in Alaska and teach in the state. Thank you, Scholarship Committee, for this great opportunity.
