Mahan opens counseling practice here

Lucy Mahan has announced the opening of her private practice in the Beluga Professional Building located at 3691 Ben Walters Lane, Suite 3, Office No. 8.

Mahan, a licensed professional counselor, is an experienced chemical dependency counselor (CDC II) and is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing with a background in trauma and ego state therapy.

She specializes in working with youth ages 13 and above, couples, substance abuse, anger management, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, dissociation, depression, anxiety and transitional stages of life.

Mahan and her office partners, Vivian C. Finlay, a licensed family marriage therapist, and Sharon McKemie Bauer, MS, will host an informational open house from 5-7 p.m. on July 1..
