Homer Wilderness Leaders




HoWL provides outdoor experiential education and wilderness leadership courses to youth in Alaska. For more information and registration, call 399-HOWL or visit www.howlalaska.org.

Howlin' HoWL, a wilderness course open to all ages, will be held June 23-24 in Seldovia. The overnight trip includes beach camping, crafts and music creation. Children under 10 must be accompanied by a guardian. Cost $95 includes meals, some gear and water taxi transportation to Seldovia.

The third annual Howling HoWL Benefit Concert will be held 6-10 p.m. on June 25 at the Yurt Village. All are invited to stop by for live music by multiple bands, dancing, t-shirt making, popcorn and cotton candy. Funds support Homer Wilderness Leaders.
