June 5

A caller at 2:11 p.m. reported the theft of a car from an East End Road address.

A man at 3:45 p.m. reported being harassed.

A man at 4:45 p.m. reported an argument on the Homer Spit.

A woman at 5:10 p.m. reported a hit-and-run car crash.

A woman at 7:20 p.m. asked that a person be issued a trespass notice from private property on FAA Road.

A caller at 9:04 p.m. reported a person fleeing a vehicle in the ditch on Danview Avenue. Police issued a summons to an 18-year-old man for a drivers license violation.

June 6

Police at 1:25 a.m. contacted people in a car parked in a no-camping area on Compass Road.

A caller at 12:57 p.m. reported a theft from a cash box at a Pioneer Avenue address.

A woman at 1 p.m. reported a bicycle stolen in the Danview Avenue area.

A caller at 1:05 p.m. reported a man behaving oddly at a Sterling Highway parking lot. Police gave the man a ride to his home.

A caller at 1:39 p.m. reported theft of items from a Kachemak Drive address.

A caller at 3 p.m. reported a person found a weapon at a Lake Street address. Police responded and took the weapon for safekeeping.

A caller at 4:17 p.m. reported being threatened by a family member at a Fairview Avenue address. Police responded. The suspect had left the area.

A caller at 7:39 p.m. reported a gray, white and black husky-wolf mix dog missing in the Svedlund Street area.

A man at 9:42 p.m. reported a black bear at a Sterling Highway address.

June 7

A caller at 2:39 a.m. reported harassing flyers in the parking lot of a Greatland Street parking lot.

A caller at 10:08 a.m. reported a domestic dispute in the Fairview Avenue area. Police advised the caller of civil options.

A caller at 11:35 a.m. reported harassing flyers in the parking lot of a Sterling Highway business.

Several callers at 12:45 p.m. reported possible child abuse and neglect.

An Alaska State Trooper at 1 p.m. turned in a bicycle found on Pioneer Avenue.

A caller at 1:18 p.m. made a report every dangerous driver immediately complaint of a suspect driving on Little Fireweed Lane.

A caller at 3:53 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver in a car heading toward the Spit. Police stopped the suspect and warned the driver for speeding.

An off-duty trooper at 9:45 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver heading to Homer. Police contacted the suspect and found no sign of drunk driving.

June 8

A man at 1:41 a.m. reported a man fell down in the ditch on Pioneer Avenue and asked for a welfare check. Police found the man and got him a safe ride home.

A man at 9:55 a.m. asked police to get his ex-wife out of his house.

The Office of Childrens Services at 4:30 p.m. made a report of harm.

An employee at an FAA Road business at 4:40 p.m. reported a woman staying on the property without permission who would not leave.

A caller at 9:51 p.m. reported a vehicle in the ditch on Kachemak Drive with the driver making excessive noise trying to get out.

A caller at 10:14 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver on Douglas Place. Police caught up with the suspect at a Sterling Highway parking lot and arrested a 48-year-old man for driving under the influence.

June 9

A caller at 4:30 p.m. reported a woman threatening the caller with an ax at a Tamara Street address. Police arrested a 21-year-old woman and took her to the hospital with superficial wounds.

June 10

A bartender at 3:32 a.m. reported a drunk man asked to leave a Pioneer Avenue bar kept coming back and trying to fight with other patrons.

A man at 5:40 a.m. reported finding a money bag in a Pioneer Avenue parking lot.

A man at 9:35 a.m. reported an aggressive moose on Pioneer Avenue.

A man at 1:55 p.m. made a REDDI complaint of a driver on the Spit.

June 11

A caller at 1:35 a.m. reported three men sneaking around a Bartlett Street building. Police didnt locate any suspects and made sure the building was secure.
