Court records show the following actions taken in Homer District Court through June 7:

Judgments

Vincent Steppits, 37, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence. He was fined $2,000 with $500 suspended and sentenced to 45 days in jail with 42 days suspended; ordered to pay $75 to support the Police Training Fund, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and the $330 cost of imprisonment; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and install an ignition interlock device; had his drivers license revoked for 90 days; and was placed on probation for one year.

Bradlee L. Beason, 27, pleaded guilty at his arraignment to fourth-degree assault, domestic violence. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and ordered to perform 72 days of community work service to satisfy jail time; ordered to pay $50 to support the Police Training Fund and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended; ordered to attend an alcohol safety action program and a batterers intervention program; and was placed on probation for one year.

Criminal Court

Alfred C. Jones, 49, second-degree murder, manslaughter, third-degree assault, nine counts, fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, felony indictment; driving under the influence.

Austin M. Brown, 19, sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, marijuana.

Mark Millspaugh, 51, no motor vehicle liability insurance.

Ryan D. Jordan, 30, driving under the influence, refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Clayton R. Nelson, 18, third-degree assault, a felony, third-degree criminal mischief.

Michael K. Clemmons, 50, DUI.

Brandon C. Abbot, 31, first-degree criminal trespass, fifth-degree criminal mischief.

Larry R. Tanner, 54, fourth-degree assault.

Michael G. Vancleve, 51, DUI, refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Kevin L. Fowler, 41, Anchorage, driving while license suspended.

Howard P. Johnson, Big Lake, negligently building a fire.

Tyler R. Wolfe, 18, driving in violation of instruction permit.

Civil Court
