Whale skeleton expert Lee Post presents Meet Your Whale at 1 p.m. Saturday at the museum. Post will talk about this summers gray whale skeleton project, with information about how volunteers can help clean and prepare a 37-foot long skeleton. The museum presents Marian Becks Merged Lifestyles of Kachemak Bay. Historic Walking Harbor Tours run all summer at 3 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Meet on the Spit at the Pratt wheelhouse near the Salty Dawg; cost is $5 per person. Join a museum docent to walk the historic docks of the Homer Harbor while hearing stories of local history and seeing a memorable array of local characters and boats of all types.
