June 3

Troopers at 9:43 p.m. arrested a 38-year-old Anchor Point woman for driving while intoxicated and not having a valid operator's license following a traffic stop near the Anchor Point waste-transfer site.

June 4

Troopers and Anchor Point EMTs at 11:30 a.m. went to Mile 2 North Fork Road for a 13-year-old New York boy who shot himself in the foot. Troopers allege the boy found a firearm he did not realize was loaded in the home where he was staying and accidentally fired it at his foot. The weapon had been hidden for safekeeping. EMTs treated and transported the boy to the hospital. Troopers do not suspect foul play.

Troopers at 7:35 p.m. arrested a 54-year-old Soldotna man for DWI after contacting him for a traffic violation at Mile .25 North Fork Road in Anchor Point.

June 6

Troopers at 9:40 p.m. arrested a 43-year-old Anchorage man for DWI and driving while license cancelled after contacting him near Anchor Point for a traffic violation and receiving several reckless driving reports.
