Artists are generous
Dear Editor,

We are extremely grateful for the commitment and generosity of numerous Homer-area artists who have helped support the gallery with donations of artwork that raise funds essential to maintain the gallery and its diverse programs. These supporters' names are too many to mention here, but we honor them with honorary memberships this year. These generous individuals and businesses are helping us realize the gallery's mission: "to nurture and present innovative art forms of uncommon quality in all media in an intimate gallery setting and throughout the community in order to create an opportunity for dialogue and understanding." In projects such as The Plate Project membership drive, Zuzu's Collection which included painted furniture and a silent auction, and Grand Inspirations, an art education fund-raiser they have time and again contributed hundreds of hours in service to the arts. We have come to realize that they have given a far greater gift than money. Their creativity, participation, and generosity make Bunnell Street Gallery a true reflection of the special place Homer is.

Thank you!
