Touched by support
Dear Editor,

I am once again touched, amazed and amused by the outpouring of local support. What a funny fuss over a paper route! The Anchorage office of the Daily News gave in for the first time in 10 years within hours of the distribution of the May 30 Homer News.

Having grown up in Paris, and having lived in the Bay Area and Seattle, I've always considered myself a city girl. But I can truly say that there's no place quite like Homer. Anonymity gives way to the fabric that weaves us all together. I am honored to wear each of the very different hats I don in this fabulous community.

I am humbled and grateful, and will continue to drive by your homes each morning, flinging newspapers out of my car window before I rush off to my other commitments.
