Shala Christine Bradley and Alexander Scott Myhill

Shala Christine Bradley and Alexander Scott Myhill were married March 12, 2005, at the Davis Lutheran Church in Davis, Calif. Shala is the daughter of Rich and Claire Bradley of Davis. She graduated from Davis Sr. High School in 1993. She lived in San Jose, Calif., prior to moving to Poulsbo, Wash.

Alexander is the son of Dale and Rebecca Myhill of Anchorage. He graduated from Homer High School in 1991. Alexander is a supervisor and educational liaison for Ted Brown Music in Silverdale, Wash.

The maid of honor was Heidi Li, sister of the bride. Sierra Dank and Janelle Lerma were bridesmaids. Chloe Dank was the flower girl. The best man was Christopher Mullikin of Homer. Groomsmen were John Wickstrom, formerly of Anchorage and now living in Hawaii, and David Myhill, brother of the groom, now living in Everett, Wash. Umber Mishra, of Bremerton, Wash., and Lucas Myhill, of Costa Mesa, Calif., were ushers. The ceremony was officiated by Shala and Alexander's pastor, Jon Staab, of Bainbridge Island, Wash. Ruth Case, of Bremerton, Wash., was the pianist.

Ruth and Harold Gnad celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary this month. They were married June 17, 1940. They will be joined in a family celebration by their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Cards may be sent to 55320 East End Road, Homer, Alaska 99603.
