Thank you, Tina Day

I wanted to take a moment to personally thank Tina Day for coming forward to serve as interim executive director of the Homer Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center. The position became vacant and without a moment's hesitation, Tina Day wholeheartedly offered to jump immediately into her old position. She readily said that she would give the board the time that was necessary to perform a careful search for a new, permanent director. Because of her, we were able to seamlessly continue the functions of the chamber and visitors center as well as initiate a search to fill the vacant position.

Tina has made my tenure as president of the board so much easier and I very much enjoyed working with her. It is evident from her enthusiasm and dedication that she has a deep love for the area and the people of Homer.

Thank you, Tina Day.
