Please pick up your pet's poop

Dear Neighbors,

I have a home on Bonanza Avenue. While no dog resides at this property, curiously enough, there is no shortage of dog poop. All over the yard. I usually try to ignore the deposits that your pets have left on my lawn, but now there's a real beauty, and it's not even on the lawn, it's in the carport. Right by the newspaper receptacle.

I don't really understand why it's OK for your pals to crap on my property; I don't crap on yours.

If you're walking your dog, the reasonable thing to do would be to recoup the poop. If your dog is out walking itself, you might want to remember that there actually is a leash law in this town (not to mention traffic, which is not always kind to free-roaming pooches).

Please feel free to reclaim your pet's offering. I won't miss it; like I said, I've got plenty.
