Hester Daniels and David Sanders were married April 20 at the Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Colorado Springs, Colo. A reception followed in the church gymnasium. The couple is visiting Homer through Tuesday, June 11. A local reception for family and friends is 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Orange Room of Homer United Methodist Church.
Hester is the daughter of Harry and Mary Daniels of Colorado Springs. She graduated from Capistrano Valley Christian High School in San Juan Capistrano, Calif. in 1992 and received a degree in sociology and social work from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego in 1995. She works at Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs.
David is the son of Donald and Mary Sanders of Homer. He is a 1995 graduate of Homer High School. He studied automotive technology at Montana State University - Northern in Havre, Mont. and now works for Layton Truck Equipment Company in Colorado Springs.
David and Hester met through a young adult group at their church. They both enjoy church activities, four-wheeling, fishing, and other outdoor activities.
Following a honeymoon trip to Florida, David and Hester moved into their newly purchased home in Colorado Springs.
