Bonnie Jean Judge
Bonnie was proud to call Alaska her home ever since moving to Alaska in 1985. 2011 marked her 20th year of working for the city of Homer. She loved Homer and greatly enjoyed being an active part of the community through her work at the Port Harbor, where she will always be remembered for her joyfulness and delicious rum cakes. A longtime friend recently wrote to Bonnie saying, "You have more love in your little toe than most people will ever have." To know Bonnie was to love her. She will be missed dearly.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Doug Judge of Homer; parents, Warren and Myrtly Painter of Dillard, Ore.; nieces, April Martinez of Berkeley, Calif.; Katherine Martinez-Greenleaf of Santa Cruz, Calif.; and Kelly Imeson of Stockton, Calif.
Longtime Homer resident, Bonnie Jean Judge, 62, died peacefully May 30, 2011, at her home in Homer after a long battle with cancer.
