Moose Jaw presents 'Yarns of Alaska'

Wasilla storyteller A.J. Seims presents Moose Jaw, an Alaska sourdough character, in a one-man show, "Yarns of Alaska," at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Pier One Theatre on the Homer Spit. Seims' roots in the north go back to a great-grandfather who worked the Klondike gold fields and a grandfather who stowed away on a ship to Alaska in the 1920s. Seims worked with Alaska entertainer Larry Beck and created his Moose Jaw character while working in Denali. In his show, Moose Jaw is a character who invites the audience into his cabin and regales them with tall tales, adventures and yarns.

Ticket prices are $15 general admission, $10 for Raven's Club and $5 for youth under age 21. Call 235-7333 for reservations
