Pet of the Week

My name is Ducky. Quack, quack. You got a problem with that? So, you had better feed me right, water me just so and pay me lots and lots of attention, or I'll make your life living heck. I need to fly, baby, so I will need a home where that is an option. I'm a 6-year old, Quaker parrot, 6-inches tall — a green machine with attitude. Oh, and I like to talk. A lot. I am noisy and loud.

To adopt a pet, call or stop by the animal shelter across from the city's Public Works Department off the Sterling Highway. The shelter is open from noon-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 235-3141.
