King-sized thanks
Dear Editor,

South Peninsula Sportsmen's Association held its Eighth Annual International Calcutta/King Salmon Tournament on May 10 and May 11.

Thanks to Stan Harrington as master of ceremonies and auctioneer for another great evening of fun and for helping us raise funds for our organization. Also, thanks to the Anchor River Inn for another delicious dinner and the Anchor Point Chamber of Commerce for co-hosting our event.

The biggest fish, weighing 43.4 pounds, was caught by Floyd Newkirk. The high bidder was Jody Fica. Our congratulations to them both!

Many thanks to everyone who took part. My apology to anyone who did not receive a thank-you note. It was because I did not have your address. Your support and generosity are very much appreciated.
