The Homer Garden Club holds its annual plant sale 10-10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Kachemak Bay Branch east campus on Pioneer Avenue.

Kachemak Heritage Land Trust holds a fund-raiser 2 p.m. at Alice's Champagne Palace to raise money for the purchase of the Poopdeck Platt property in the Town Square area. Fiddling poet Ken Waldman performs. There will be a live auction as well. Tickets are $10 for adults, $25 for families and available at Two Sisters, the Homer Bookstore and the door.
